Atlantic Highlands

Jay from Julian’s said Fluke fishing is still good in the bay. Snappers are very plentiful along with croakers and porgies.

Al on the Sea Tiger – now sailing everyday out of Atlantic Highlands 8am – 12:30pm including holidays. The Sea Tiger is currently fishing for fluke.

Capt Jim on the Bing Sport Fishing – said plenty of croakers and porgies in the bay. Offshore Blues and Fluke cooperating and the fishing remains strong. Snapper blue fishing still strong.

Belmar

Pete at Parker Pete’s said Fluke fishing remains good, and Snapper Blues are all over the place. Offshore is a mixed bag with Mahi Mahi at the top of the list.

Capt. Jim from Skylarker Charters said the Fluke and Sea Bass fishing remains good with nice sized fish being caught. Offshore, some huge bluefish are being caught while chunking.

Chris on the Big Mohawk said Fluke fishing is hot with fish between 5 and 6  pounds being caught every day. Bucktail and Gulp combo producing best catches. The Mohawk is sailing everyday 7am-3pm.

Karen from the Royal Miss Belmar said the Fluke fishing remains good with some nice fish being caught. Slammer-sized Blues providing most of the action offshore. The Royal Miss Belmar is sailing everyday 7:30am – 2:30pm.

Capt Rich of the Golden Eagle said he still has some dates open and you can reach him at 732-681-6144 He said the Fluke and Mahi fishing remains good.

Jim on the Suzie Girl – Jim reports Big Blues and nice Fluke being caught on Bucktails and Gulp. He still has some open Tuna dates available for September; call Jim to reserve your spot at 732-988-7760.

Capt. Ron on the Capt Cal II said the Fluke fishing remains goods with nice fish mixed in. Sea Bass fishing also remains good. Capt Call II is sailing everyday 7:30am – 3:30pm. Call Capt Ron at 732-977-2020.

Bradley Beach

Mark at The Bait Shop said the Fluke fishing in Shark River remains good with some big fish being taken outside the inlet. Snapper Blues are all plentiful and being caught on spearing and poppers.

Brielle

John at The Reel Seat told us the Hudson Canyon is yielding some nice Black fin and Big Eye Tuna.  Plenty of Mahi Mahi being caught at the Klondike and Manasquan Ridge, Bonito and Albacore also mixed in.

Capt. Ken from the Big Kid reports the Mahi Mahi fishing is hot along with Yellow Fin and Blue Fin Tuna. He also stated that big Blues are plentiful.

Hazlet

Phil at the Tackle Box said Snapper Blues being caught on metal and poppers remains productive.  Also  Cocktail Blues and Fluke fishing remains good.

Keyport

Joe at Joey’s Bait and Tackle said Fluke and Snapper Blue fishing is hot in Raritan bay. Cocktail Blues and crabbing is also producing quite well.

Chris from the Keyport Basin said Snapper Blue fishing is red hot while the Fluke fishing is still going strong.

Lake Hopatcong

Lou from Dow’s Bait and Tackle said the Striper fishing is still hot and the anglers are catching many Smallmouth Bass as well. Pickerel fishing remains good as well.

Belford

Mark from Mariners Mart said Snapper Blues providing most of the action with the fish being caught on Poppers, small metal and spearing. Crabbing has also been most impressive.

Robbinsville

John at Harry’s Adventure said Fluke fishing is good with catches up to 8 pounds. Cocktail Blues and Snapper Blues are very plentiful.

Sea Bright

Jim at Giglios said good Fluke fishing in the river and bay. Snapper Blue fishing still great with Cocktail Blues mixed in. Crabbing has also been producing in a good way.

Bayonne

True World Tackle reports good Fluke fishing in the bay to NY Harbor. Snapper and Cocktail Blues keeping the anglers happy with plenty of action.
